  36. If the file name is in the file to be sent, extract that, and on the
  37. sending side say "send file xxx as yyyy", or its equivalent.  While my
  38. through unserstanding of kermit is not great, I understood that a file (as
  39. in the example 'xxx' could be sent to the other side (on the server side)
  40. with a new name ('yyyy' in the example).  If I had the proper book in
  41. front of me (I intend to buy it soon) I could give some hints, but I've
  42. been away from Kermit for a while, so I may be a bit fuzzy.

  44. Name translation must be available in some form, for very.long.unix.names
  45. don't translate well to MS-DOS 8.3 type names.
